U.S. Manuals
NEW The Russian PPSh 41/43 Repair Manual
For everyone who bought a PPSh 41 or 43 kit (hundreds have been sold),
I'm presently working on translating the Russian repair manual. It's very
well illustrated with excellent text for inspection, troubleshooting, and
repairing the PPSh.
I had to learned some Russian to be able to translate just this manual,
so the price will have to be a little higher than the German manual rates,
but it was such a complete and detailed manual, I thought someone needed
to do it.
About 110 pages, formatted in 8.5 x 11" size, and comb bound
to lay flat while you're fixing things.
Expected finish for this manual will be the end of May. A message when it's
ready to sell will be posted here.
Expected price will be $38 including U.S. first class postage. I
will update this ad when this manual is ready to sell.

a whole lot more are clearly explained and illustrated. Have your calculator
ready, as most of the recipe contents lists are for 100 men.

NEW U.S. M1 .30 Cal. Carbine Blueprints
Larry Ruth (War Baby, War Baby comes home, and other Carbine books) provided
all the blueprints and extras contained in this huge volume, and collaborated
with me to produce this book. I spent three months restoring these blueprints
and compiling this set of original, U.S. government issued prints. Freckles,
spots, and fold lines that have accumulated over the decades have been removed,
lines have been straightened, faded places have been restored, and the blueprints
haven't looked this good since WWII (if then). This book has 180 pages at
12 x 18". While compiled mostly of original blueprints, extras showing
various modifications and variations that have arisen over the years and
other details have also been included, including eight pages of the 8.5
x 11" instruction chart series of color prints, showing the names and
locations of all the carbine parts. This is ready now. Keep in mind that
the resolution on the sample pictures has been reduced to limit the size
of the files. The original file for Sample 1 is 6.2 megs (Huge!). All files
were scanned and restored at 600 dpi, so these prints are sharp and clean
looking, without jaggy lines or printing flaws, even though the pages are
a foot high and a foot and a half wide. These prints put the usually-found
random government prints to shame. This book is sent rolled (to avoid crease
lines and damage), and will return to being fully flat after a day or two
o flying flat. The entire book is printed on 28 lb, shiny-finished paper,
(similar to the paper used in all the high-end collector books. 28 lb. paper
is 40% thicker than standard printer paper, which provides greater durability
and strength on pages this size so that they don't get accidentally damaged
or torn when handled. The front and back covers are 80 lb cover stock, to
protect everything. Binding is done with plastic combs, which allows the
book to lay flat when it's open so that it doesn't need the pages weighted
down to stay on the page you're reading/machining from.
Please reference "Carbine Prints" on your order.
For the present, this book is available exclusively on GermanManuals.com
and from Larry Ruth only.

- Bugler manual - Military Issue
U.S. Specialists:
Field Music - The Bugler - This
one is a bugler manual, for the guy who plays the bugle (duh!).
This 1928 dated, 34 page illustrated manual starts with 10 pages of text,
with little details such as "The bugler's equipment includes a bugle
for the Field Artillery and a trumpet in F and G for the other branches".
Who knew that?
Then the manual has 21 pages of sheet music of the standard bugle tunes,
(Assembly, Reveille, You're in the Army Now, etc.) and the stuff nobody
knows about (church call, boat call, mess call - very important!), and a
few dozen other tunes.
What self-respecting U.S. reenacting group doesn't have a bugler? Well,
now you can have the tunes for him.

Handbook of the German Army - US WWII
Company Officer's Handbook of the German Army
- Originally published by the US War Department as a Restricted manual,
this is for the US Army Company officer to help them understand various
facets of the German Army. See the table of contents. This manual gives
a broad overview of the German Wehrmacht and is surprisingly thorough, with
many illustrations. I recommend it for those with both US and German interests.
131 pages, 5.5w x 8.5h. I didn't have to translate this manual, so it is
priced accordingly and still includes US postage.

TB ORD 366 - Rebuild Standards for Small Arms - Military Issue
This manual
has been very difficult to find as a reprint, and nearly impossible to find
as an original. This reprint is cleaned up and enhanced to make it a very
easy to read 178 page manual, with lots of illustrations. The original
had some very small type in it that was difficult to read in an 5.5"
x 8.5" manual, so I've reproduced this is a larger format of
8.5" x 11", with a lay-flat plastic comb binding.
This is printed at 125% of the original size, which makes it much easier
to read,
especially for those of us who don't have 25 year old eyes anymore.
This manual covers the .30 Carbine, Garand, B.A.R, Pistols & Revolvers,
.22 Rifles, Shotguns, .30 & .50 Machine Guns, Bayonets, Rocket &
Grenade Launchers, Web & Leather Equipent. See the table of contents
page below for details. This manual will be sent as Media Mail to save a
few dollars on postage, since it weighs nearly a pound. If you want it sent
faster than Media Mail, it can be sent in a Prioirty Mail Flat-Rate mailer
for $4 extra.

- Model 1911 Pistol - Base Shop Data - WW2 Military Issue
U.S. Base Shot Data Pistol, Cal. .45, 1911A1 - The U.S. military manual
for the 1911 Model Pistol. This Rock Island Arsenal manual from Sept.
1942 shows complete disassembly/assembly for the semi-auto .45 pistol. Its
42 pages of contents include disassembly, assembly, overhaul, and tool drawings.
The tool drawings, as with many U.S. military manuals (including those above)
were very small and of poor quality in the original manuals. Blowing the
pictures up in size to fit the 8.5 x 11" format makes the diagrams
easier to see, but many of the dimensions are unreadable at any size (including
in the originals). Still, this is a very nicely detailed manual about this
classic .45 cal. pistol.
